Beginning its eleventh year, the Center for Christian Studies has grown with each passing term. These classes have brought the excitement of learning and the opportunity to deepen one’s faith. This program has been a true blessing to everyone who volunteers his or her time and effort. Please check off your area of interest. We welcome your participation.

  Course Coordinator
The Coordinator’s primary role is to see that the classes run as smoothly as possible. We assist the teacher, greet, take attendance, sell books, copy materials, and answer questions. We provide the foundation for a successful learning experience. We also staff an information table during coffee hour each Sunday morning.
  Publications
Volunteers should have some experience in advertising and/or graphic design, work on Macintosh platform and have a working knowledge of Quark Xpress. Good copywriters are always in demand. Professional proofreaders are welcome when the catalog is in production.
  Marketing
We are looking for individuals with experience in all types of advertising – experience with different types of print media, mailing list acquisitions, ad placement, and direct mail campaigns. There is a great need for capable, eloquent editorial writers for Voice articles. Also helpful is a familiarity with press release writing and distribution, experience with ad copy creation and generation, graphic artists, advertising/promotion experience. Photographic enthusiasts are always in demand. Above all else, an understanding and appreciation for CCS!
  Special Events
We plan some one-day, partial day and weekend events such as lectures or seminars in addition to those that are listed in the catalog. People are needed to present ideas and help to implement them.
  General Support
From time to time we need people to stuff envelopes, assemble folders, tabulate evaluation returns and generally help to make things work.
